SIAM Conference on Mathematics of Data Science (MDS22)

About the Conference

This is the conference of the SIAM Activity Group on Data Science.

Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is proud to introduce the second SIAM Conference on Mathematics of Data Science (MDS22). September 26-30, 2022 in San Diego, CA and virtually, a diverse group of thought leaders from industry, government, labs, and academia will come together to present, learn about, and discuss data science advances, exchange ideas, collaborate, and network.

SIAM MDS22 will be a convening of the best and brightest in data science, bringing together researchers, practitioners, educators, and students from around the world. The conference will be packed with cutting-edge research and will provide a forum to present and discuss work that advances mathematical, statistical, and computational methods in the context of data and information sciences. The conference aims to bring together those who are building foundations for data science and its applications across science, engineering, technology, and society. MDS22 will also expose challenges and advances in the ethics and fairness of data science.
