Making SIAM membership accessible to as many people as possible is incredibly important to us. That's why we offer many different types of membership - some coming with deep discounts. Learn more about the many membership options available to you!

Sign up for Auto-Renewal

For convenience, SIAM offers members the option to automatically renew their membership. To have your membership automatically renew each year, simply select the auto-renew checkbox on my.siam.org when you remit payment for your membership, or contact SIAM Customer Service at [email protected] or 1-800-447-SIAM Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET. Please remember never to send credit card information by email. When you call or email, please provide your telephone number and a SIAM Customer Service representative will contact you to update your information. Membership Types

  • Regular Membership

    For professionals interested in the field of mathematics.

  • Early Career Membership

    50% discount off the price of regular membership for the first three years after graduation and 25% discount off the price of regular membership for the fourth and fifth years after graduation.

  • Student Membership

    For full-time students enrolled in any college or university who are studying mathematics, engineering, computer science, physical science, or who use mathematics or computational methods in any field of study. Free or discounted memberships. Learn more.

  • Retired Membership

    For those who have been SIAM Regular Members in good standing for at least 15 years who retire from employment. Reduced rate. Contact us for more information.

  • Outreach Membership

    For residents of developing countries. Greatly discounted rate. Learn more. 

  • Associate Membership

    This membership option is open to those who would otherwise be enrolled as a Regular, Reciprocal, or Postgraduate Member, but have a spouse who is also a current dues-paying Regular, Reciprocal, or Lifetime Member. Reduced rate. Contact us for more information.

  • Lifetime Membership

    Prepay your membership and never have to pay dues again! The fee is calculated by (65 minus your age) x Current Regular Dues (minimum five years).  Contact us for more information.

  • Reciprocal Membership

    For individuals who belong to another mathematical society with which SIAM has a reciprocity agreement. Rate discounted 30%. See our list of reciprocal societies. 

  • Unemployed or Disabled

    For renewing Regular, Reciprocal, and Early Career Members who have been members 3+ years and become unemployed (due to disability or otherwise). Discounted rate. Contact us for more information.
