Standard Audio-visual Set-up in Meeting Rooms
Every PLENARY SESSION ROOM will have TWO OVERHEAD PROJECTORS, TWO SCREENS, and ONE DATA PROJECTOR. All other breakout rooms will have one overhead projector, one screen, and one data projector. Speakers may inquire about ordering additional audio/visual equipment by contacting email@example.com.
SIAM does not provide computers for any speaker. When giving an electronic presentation, speakers must provide their own computers. SIAM is not responsible for the safety and security of speakers’ computers.

An Internet café will be available to attendees during registration hours.
The average temperature in Snowbird during May varies between 51° F (11°C) and 70° F (21°C). Please remember that meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely. It is recommended you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.

The poster session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, at 8:30 PM in the Ballroom. Presenters are requested to put up their posters between the hours of 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM on Wednesday, the official start time of the session. Poster displays must be removed by 10:30 PM, the end of the poster session. Posters remaining after this time will be discarded.

Note: Any poster presenter who fails to appear and present his or her confirmed presentation will be considered a no-show. No-shows will be billed $55 per accepted poster.
SIAM Books and Journals
Display copies of books and complimentary copies of journals are available on site. SIAM books are available at a discounted price during the conference. If a SIAM books representative is not available, completed order forms and payment (credit cards are preferred) may be taken to the SIAM registration desk.
SIAM has selected Uniglobe Wings Travel to assist attendees in making travel arrangements. Press two (2) when you hear the recording, and ask to be transferred to Amy. Be sure to mention you are attending the SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems (DS07). You also have the choice of using your own travel agent or an Internet service. There are many web sites available to allow you to search for and purchase airline tickets online. Expedia, Orbitz, and Travelocity are just a few.
Public Transportation from Airport
Canyon Transportation provides summer transportation from the airport to Snowbird. YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE. Reservations can be made when making your lodging reservation through Snowbird, or visit http://www.canyontransportation.com/ for additional information including rates and schedules. You may then make reservations using their online reservation form, e-mail, fax or telephone. When making reservations be sure to include your date of arrival, the airline you are using, the flight number, and time of arrival. The Canyon Transportation desk is located in the baggage claim area of the airport.
Remember to make reservations for your return to the airport after the conference. You must confirm your reservation for the trip from Snowbird to the airport with Canyon Transportation Inc. 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure.
Amtrak has a rail station in Salt Lake City. To make train reservations through Amtrak, call (800) USA-RAIL, go to http://www.amtrak.com or contact Uniglobe Wings Travel. Taxis are available at the train station for transportation to the hotel.
Many major car rental companies have offices inside the airport terminal. You can make your arrangements when you arrive at the airport or you can make them through Uniglobe Wings Travel or your own travel agent. Uniglobe Wings Travel can make your car rental reservations at the same time you make your flight reservations. See information above regarding how to reach Uniglobe Wings Travel.
If renting a car, please obtain a map and directions from your rental car company. Another option is to visit Mapquest, or another similar web site. SIAM highly recommends you contact the hotel directly at +1-801-742-2222 or visit their web site for driving directions.
International attendees at conferences in the US may already be aware that there have been changes to the visa program for scientific visitors, which affect even people from visa waiver countries.
