~*VIEW SESSION DETAILS*~

The SIAM Activity Group on Financial Mathematics and Engineering is excited to announce the first SIAM Financial Mathematics & Engineering Student Programming Competition sponsored by MathWorks. Student teams partook in a two-month programming challenge to solve a mathematical programming problem arising in financial modeling. Teams had the option to use a complimentary license of MATLAB provided by MathWorks.

The final stage of the competition took place Thursday, June 3, as finalist teams from around the world pitched their multi-disciplinary solutions before judges. Winning teams, who will be awarded cash prizes, are:
First prize, Chris Chia and Sandra Ng, London School of Economics
